My Super Powernap

napSince I am kind of tired right now I am going to share my power nap trick. I used to do it at school where I rarely have time to sleep and try to stay awake and sharp as much as possible.

Here is what I do, take a shot of caffeine and go to sleep. Very simple but there is a few tips to perform this stunt successfully.

1. Your shot of caffeine should be a shot, concentrated coffee, energy shot, whatever small enough in that you can finish in a mouthful or two. The reason is that you want to be able to fall asleep before the caffeine kicks in.

2. You should be already pretty tired. Then hopefully you can fall asleep ASAP, this part takes a lot of practice. The key is not to worry about not falling asleep, but just have a calm mind and eyes shut. Try not to think so much. On the side notes I notice myself half asleep and begin to have dreamy thoughts, that's when I know I am almost asleep.

3. No need alarm or anything, at least for me. Your body should wake up by itself in one hour max, you will then feel rejuvenated and sometimes too hyper. Try to pace and calm yourself at this point and be productive.
