Happy Thanksgiving! Do everyone celebrate Thanksgiving? I know a lot of Asian people don't really celebrate Thanksgiving, they would have a bigger dinner than usually with turkey that's all. There is not gathering with extended family. It is usually because they haven't been fully Americanized yet.
Stop fighting, everyone is right

We have all experienced confrontations with another person. And it always ends the same way. Two people pissed off at each other because someone didn’t get what they wanted. It’s usually the case right? When I can’t get the other person to do what I want, to share my view on something, to treat me the way I want to be treated, someone is bound to be unhappy. Yea, think about it. Every time you are unhappy, it’s almost always because you didn’t get what you want.
I have been absent from any Black Friday action for about 2 years, not as hardcore as I used to be (lining up night, try to fight off the crowd to get to the sales item... etc). I am too old to fight the kids during Black Friday, so I am very glad that as internet getting more common now that Black Friday deals are available online.

I had a long conversation about Asian countries such as Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Hainan, and Shanghai with a friend. It’s a big cultural difference compared to United States. After everything I learned, I’m not to sure I can survive in Asian countries. Well, this is what I learn:
Ray and I just visited a local Brazilian BBQ buffet restaurant. They have a salad bar with shrimps and many goodies, but the main courses are the BBQ meats like chicken, steak, lamb they offer. I think I had one too many of those and I am too full to blog.

You want what you can't have, so I'm not gonna give it to you. Everybody wants something they don’t have. They want it more when they can’t have it. Why? Is it because we tend to strive for something? Is it because it makes us feel important? Maybe that’s it. Maybe having something that was once hard to get a sense of accomplishment. I guess it makes us feel special, and that is why we keep striving for more, for less, for something other than what we have.
Can You Build Me a Computer?
"Can you build me a computer?" I used to get that question a lot, and most of the time I was happy to reply "Yes, I can". But in the recent year, I opt for the reply "Just buy one". One of the good things about the world we are living in is that technology costs cheaper and cheaper everyday.

Raymond,
Now I am going to meddle in your life. It is Saturday morning, and you are a youngster. What the heck are you doing writing in the middle of the night and on Saturday morning. All work and no play is a pathetic way to live. I expect that you have at least one day a week, and if at all possible 2 days a week (no compromise) where you go out and have fun. Live life to the fullest. I figure you have a job since you are so young. Bust your butts working. I averaged 70 hours a week for over 30 years, but when I was off I...
