Cut the crap, and focus on passion

starbucks

Lots of people that wants to live a simpler life thinks that they must own little and want little. Both of those are quite hard to do especially wanting little. I don’t think this has to be the case to live simpler. Hell, this isn’t something I would want to do. Who want’s to want little? If so, how will there be big changes, entrepreneurs, revolutions, etc. Life is about passion, and doing what we love. Living simpler to me means owning and wanting more of the things you’re truly passionate about.

If you happen to be a person is really loves Starbucks, then go ahead and spend your money on 5 bucks coffee. If you really love photography, then spend money photography gear. But don’t spend money on things you don’t care about that much. To live simpler, you have to ignore all the crap, and focus only on the things you love. That way, money is spent on fewer items that give you more joy.

So the next time you decide to buy some thing, ask yourself, “is this really what I’m passionate about?” If so, then buy it.
